If you stop at a bus stop
Bus zones are reserved for public transport and must be kept clear.
When parking beside a continuous white line
It is illegal to park where crossing a solid line is required to enter or exit the space.
If you park near an intersection
This ensures turning visibility and smooth vehicle flow.
When stopping near a tram or rail track
Blocking tramways or creating visibility issues is prohibited.
If you park on a sidewalk
Must leave at least 1.5 meters for pedestrians and not block access.
If you leave your car in a disabled parking spot
Unauthorized use is illegal and subject to fines and towing.
When stopping in a tunnel
Emergency stops only; otherwise, it creates a major hazard.
If you stop at a traffic island or median strip
These areas are for pedestrian safety or road separation, not vehicle use.
If you double park beside another vehicle
Blocks traffic and access; strictly prohibited under Polish traffic laws.
When stopping on a narrow road
Other vehicles must be able to pass safely; otherwise, It is an obstruction.
When parking in front of a driveway or entrance
You must not block access to garages, gates, or driveways.
If you stop at a railway crossing
Obstructing tracks is highly dangerous and illegal.
When waiting in a no-parking zone
These zones allow momentary stopping, but the driver must remain ready to move.
If you park on the left side of a two-way street
Standard parking must be on the right-hand side in the direction of travel.
When stopping near a fire hydrant
Obstructing access to emergency services is a traffic offense.
If you park without lights in poor visibility
Visibility must be ensured when leaving your vehicle during low light conditions.
